10 Most Anticipated Concert Tours Coming to Louisville

2016 brought some incredible shows to our city including legends like Coldplay and Madonna. Let’s see if 2017 will measure up. Here are the top 10 biggest shows coming to Louisville in 2017.

10. Norah Jones – March 17th

Norah Jones is a Grammy Award Winning singer-songwriter whose song “Don’t Know Why” put her on the map. This year, she will be touring her new album Day Breaks. Regular tickets to her show in Louisville are already sold out but VIP tickets are still available. Catch her show at the Louisville Palace on Friday March 17th and listen to her latest single “Carry On“.

9. Def Leppard with Special Guest: Poison – April 26th

Def Leppard has teamed up with Poison and Tesla for a three month tour this spring. This will be the first time in more than five years that all 4 members of Poison: Brett Michaels, C.C. Deville, Bobby Dall, and Ricki Rocket, will be touring together. Poison are expected to play all their greatest hits including “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”, and “Talk Dirty to Me”. Unfortunately, Tesla won’t be joining us for the Louisville show but Def Leppard and Poison will both be at the KFC Yum! Center on April 26th and tickets are on sale with prices starting at $29.50.

 8. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill – April 28th

The married couple will celebrate 20 years of marriage on the Soul2Soul Tour this year. This is the couple’s third major tour together. The original McGraw/Hill Soul2Soul Tour was in 2000, when both stars were at the peak of their careers. This tour marks the 10th anniversary of their Soul2Soul II tour which was in 2006. Tickets are already on sale and prices start at $65.50 for their show at the KFC Yum! Center on April 28th.

7. Roger Waters – May 28th

Roger Waters is bringing Pink Floyd to the nation on his solo US + Them Tour. Of course the show will include the song “US and Them” from Pink Floyd’s legendary album The Dark Side of the Moon. Waters announced that the show will include about 75% old songs and 25% new songs. A press release announcing the tour mentions that the show will include state-of-the-art audio-visual production and quad sound. Roger Waters will bring his spectacular show to the KFC Yum! Center on  May 28th. Ticket prices start at $55 and are on sale now.

6. Mumford & Sons – May 23rd

Mumford & Sons will be headlining for U2 and performing at a few festivals this summer but they announced shows in Louisville, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. On their website they call these shows an “opportunity to catch up with a few cities they haven’t been to recently and have a party.” The band will be at the KFC Yum! Center on May 23rd and tickets are on sale this Friday for the general public starting at $39.50.

5. Journey – June 28th

Journey will be teaming up with Asia for a summer tour in 2017. Journey is a classic rock band who will be sure to perform their greatest hits including “Don’t Stop Believin”, “Separate Ways”, and “Faithfully”. Journey Fan Club and VIP presales are going on right now. The Live Nation and LN Mobile App presales started today. The artist presale code is JRNY. The Live Nation code is SUPERSTAR. and the LN mobile app code is COVERT. American Express cardholders can use the code INGOLD but you have to use an American Express card at checkout. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (1/27) and prices start at $29.50. Journey will be at the KFC Yum! Center on June 28th.

4. Red Hot Chili Peppers – May 16th

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have added more dates to their 2017 North American Tour. They’re touring their new album The Getaway  which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Album Sales Chart and at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its release in June. This is their 11th studio album which ended a 5 year hiatus between their last album. The Red Hot Chili Peppers will make a stop at the KFC Yum! Center on May 16th. Tickets are on sale now starting at $53.

3. Panic! at the Disco – April 9th

After a summer tour with Weezer and Andrew McMahon and the Wilderness, Panic! at the Disco will be joining Misterwives and Saint Motel on their 2017 tour. This tour is supporting their new album Death of a Bachelor which is the fifth studio album from the band. Death of a Bachelor debuted at number 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart and is nominated for the Grammy for Best Rock Album. Panic! at the Disco will tear up the KFC Yum! Center stage on April 9th. Tickets start at $39.50 and are on sale now.

2. Bruno Mars – September 19th

Bruno Mars rose to fame with his hit song “Just the Way You Are” and continued to produce hit after hit making him one of the most streamed artist on Spotify. His 24k Magic tour sold more than 1 million tickets in one day according to Live Nation. Now Bruno Mars is bringing some of his magic back to Louisville for the second time at the KFC Yum! Center on September 19th. Tickets are on sale now starting at $45.

1. Twenty One Pilots – March 5th

It seems as though Twenty One Pilots is planning a global takeover after having a massively successful year on the charts following the success of songs like “Ride” and “Stressed Out”. They were featured on album of the hit DC film Suicide Squad with their song “Heathens”. The “EMØTIØNAL RØADSHØW” World Tour will include a show at the KFC Yum! Center on March 5th. This show is so highly anticipated that is is actually already completely sold out. You could always try your luck on StubHub.
